Upcoming ForeStClim block in Brittany

Steering Committee meeting, Task Force "Forests and Water" meeting and an excursion to ForeStClim investments will take place in Brittany as a block event (12-14 October 2011)

Meeting venue is the Eco-Hotel Spa Yves Rocher "La Grée des Landes", Cournon, 56200 LA GACILLY, France (http://www.lagreedeslandes.com/index.php/).

Visitation of some investments of our ForeStClim partners in Brittany, guided by Christophe Bidaud (www.pays-redon-vilaine.fr).

9:00 Rendez-vous at La Gacilly, Hotel La Grée des Landes

9:30 Visit at the Vauvert (Comblessac) : Study of the plantations realized thanks to the ForeStClim project. Compared study between 2 plantations sites and results towards climate conditions.

11:00 Visit at Redon: Feed-Back of the first plantations. New plantation progra. Links with inhabitants

13:00 Lunch at Redon

14:30 Visit at Allaire: Presentation of the works on the far. Idea of the Tree Academy.

16:30 Conclusion at the National Conservatory for Forest Biodiversity: Climate change models and plantations by Hervé LE BOULER
